- With a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Staffordshire University, I am customer focused and appreciate the importance of effective written communication.
- I am professionally trained in proofreading and have been awarded a merit in Basic Proofreading through the Publishing Training Centre.
- I have successfully completed an Adobe InDesign training course at the Hereford College of Arts.
Experience

- proofreading for book publisher The Caxton Press.
- sub-editing Financial Alert, a specialist financial services magazine.
- producing newsletters, press releases, information resources and marketing material for both charitable and commercial organisations.
- managing the publications department for a large group of city libraries.
- author of Canterbury Country Houses, a non-fiction book published by The Caxton Press, Christchurch, New Zealand.

- producing newsletters and marketing material for an international shipping inspection company and developing user manuals for their commercial software.
- Copy-editing for the Yorkley Press, a community publishing organisation in the Forest of Dean that produces local history books.
